It’s time … again.

Flint Hill has always been a school that’s willing to try something new. From building a destination Upper School two decades ago to leading the way with technology and learning support, we don’t settle for average.

But we are simply out of room for our 7th and 8th graders to thrive in the Hazel Academic Building.

The kids are squashed together, and teachers make do with cramped quarters, outdated furniture and no storage space. We have to change that.

It’s time to build a Middle School worthy of Flint Hill. But we can’t do it without you.

Imagine…

  • Plenty of space for flexible learning and collaboration, including new classrooms, an Innovation Hub with two well-equipped maker classrooms, project and quiet study areas, all anchored by a more private Learning Center.

  • A light-filled Commons area with cafeteria seating where the entire 7th and 8th grade can gather for lunch or a Town Meeting.

  • Sprawling outdoor terrace space that will bring the entire Flint Hill community together to watch games and have fun, including a new concession stand and playground.

  • Two new parking lots, one near the Upper School and one near the new Middle School.

  • A reimagined Hazel Academic Building, including reconfigured Lower School classrooms, updated furniture better designed for collaboration and flexibility and fresh paint and carpet.

A lot of thought has gone into creating our new Middle School. As with everything we do here, it’s been intentional, deliberate and strategic. This will be our next turning point.

Our plans go far beyond one new building.

The momentum we’ll gain from this campus-wide realignment will be a catalyst for Flint Hill’s success long into the future. It will touch every student and family.

All we need now is you.
